1981年9月 - フルモデルチェンジ。最後の後輪駆動モデル。4A-GE型エンジンの搭載モデルもあった。このモデルから、シャシはコロナ（翌年モデルチェンジ）と共用となった。1800SEにはパワーウインドウも設定され、のちにFF1800SEエクストラの嚆矢となる「エクストラ・エディション」も追加された。CM出演では、千葉真一のほかに岸本加世子も加わった。

September 1981 - Full model change. The last rear wheel drive model. There was also a model equipped with a 4 A-GE engine. From this model, the chassis was shared with the corona (next year model change). A power window was set for the 1800 SE, and an "extra edition" which later became an arrow of the FF 1800 SE extrater was also added. In the CM appearance, Kayoko Kishimoto joined in addition to Shinichi Chiba.
