TOYOTA CELICA XX-1 1978-1981

初代セリカXXは、当時のトヨタとして最上級クラスに位置するフラッグシップモデルであったものの、当時は自動車税が高額であった3ナンバーモデルを有していた事もあり、国内販売はさほど振るいませんでした。北米市場においては「スープラ」の車名で販売された為、後に国内でも発売されたスペシャリティカー「スープラ」の先駆け的な存在ともなりました。

The first Celica XX was a flagship model located in the top class as Toyota at the time, but at that time I had a 3 number model where the automobile tax was expensive, so domestic sales do not pretty much did. In the North American market, it was sold under the car name "SUPRA", so it also became the forerunner of the specialty car "SUPRA" which was released later in the country.
